Peter Velits after his 1st in the Vueltas TT
Vincenzo Nibali (Liquigas-Doimo) has retaken the race leader's red jersey at the Vuelta a Espana after gaining more than four minutes on Spain's Joaquin Rodriguez (Katusha) in the 46km time trial around Peñafiel.

Igor Anton Celebrates winning Stage 11 and the Red Jersey
gor Anton (Euskaltel-Euskadi) took a dramatic victory on stage 11, the Vuelta a España's first summit finish, and moved back into the leader's red jersey. The 27-year-old Spaniard timed his attack to perfection on the finishing ascent to Andorra for his second stage win of the Vuelta.
The main animator of the concluding ascent to Andorra, Ezequiel Mosquera (Xacobeo-Galicia), finished three seconds behind Anton for second place while a surging Xavier Tondo (Cervélo Test Team) crossed the line in third, a further seven seconds down.
"It’s a great outcome with the stage win, the red jersey and the time bonus," said Anton. "Now I can't lie anymore: I'll fight for the final victory at the Vuelta. I'm not afraid of anything, except of experiencing a very bad day. If I don't win in Madrid, it’s no big deal. I'm already happy with how I'm going.

Whenever Italians compete at an international event such as the World Cup or the UCI Road World Championships they create their own little slice of Italy, known as the Spazio Azzurri or blue space, named after the famous blue jerseys worn by the Italian national team.
Claudio Parente Events Manager at the Italian Chamber of Commerce is responsible for setting up the Spazio Azzurri at the Geelong West Town Hall.
“Spectators will be able to visit the Spazio Azzurri free of charge – it will be like an Italian festival every day with roving entertainers playing traditional music, Italian wine and food, and a number of al fresco areas.
