Garzelli wins the tough TT at Plan De Corones
Garzelli is crowned King of the tough TT at Plan De Corones. His nearest competitor was Cadel Evans who took home second place.

The final placings were identical to the Ronde Van Gelderland held earlier this month, with Kirstin Wild (Cervelo Test team) in first and Rochelle Gilmore (Lotto Ladies) in second place.

Erasing his two second deficit to the leader Michele Scarponi (Androni Giocattoli) the riders in fact finished tied on time although stage placings gave the overall victory to Garzelli for his first career Tirreno-Adriatico victory. The winner of the mountains classification at the 2009 Giro he also reversed last years result which saw Scarponi win by 25 seconds.
Australia's Cadel Evans (BMC Racing) rounded out the GC podium in third place, 12 seconds behind Garzelli.
