SMP at Tour of Flanders

Amore & Vita-Conad's Borisov at Coppi & Bartali

The North Campaign gets in the heart of the 94th Tour of Flanderson Sunday, April 4th. The SMP Saddles assured its place in the front line thanks to Footon-Servetto-Fuji. At start in Bruges (Belgium) there is the Pro Tour Team  directed by Mauro Gianetti and includes Fabio Felline, Manuel Cardoso, Matthias Brändle, Ermanno Capelli, Johnnie Walker, Vidal Celis, Michele Merlo and Tom Faiers.

Anyway, the activity of the team during the Easter weekend is very intensive one and is held in many fields. Besides  Fiandre, the Footon-Servetto-Fuji will open the campaign in Spain on Saturday, April 3rd . They will participate in the 12th Gp Miguel Indurain, Vuelta al País Vasco (5-10 April) and Klasika Primavera Amorebieta (Sunday, April 11th ). Next, there will be the stage race, the Presidential Tour of Turkey (11-18 April).

Meanwhile in Italy, the Continental Professional Amore&Vita-Conad and the Professional  Cdc-Cavaliere, both vets of the  Coppi&Bratali Week, they will finish the Lombard Week in Bergamasca during this weekend.

MTB – After his confirmation in the opening at Carrè (Vicenza) of the Veneto Cup, Rafael Visinelli from Bolognaconquered the second consecutive seasonal victory at Meduna di Livenza in the province of Treviso. This athlete of the Forestale-Frw equipped with the SMP Saddles was in the excellent condition. At about half of the distance, with the exceptional advance, Visinelli left everybody fair behind him and ran alone towards the success. The expert  Alessandro Fontana, with the fantastic suppot for Visinelli, arrived on the fifth position. Visinelli consolidates his supremacy in the Veneto Cup. In Swiss Gerard Kershbaumer, the 2009 junior champion, participated during the first trial of the Swiss Cup and closed on the tenth position, second one among the under 23.

For the Infotre-Lee Cougan, after the splendid victory of Catriel Soto during the Argentinean Championship on March 14th , the March closes in the best possible way. As a matter of fact, On Tuesday 23 Fabio Castaneda, always getting better and better, arrived as the third one and gained the bronze medal during the South American championships at Medellin, in Colombia.

The Columbian biker is getting better and better after every race and aims to the next American championships in April 11th . On Sunday, March 28th it was  David Rodrigues  to carry high the colours of the team from Brescia thanks to the prestigious third absolute place in the International Portuguese trial at Castro Marin.
