THE SMP SADDLES START THEIR CAPAIGN IN NORTH

               The beginning of the season for the Footon-Servetto-Fuji is very encouraging one, the Pro Tour team equipped with the SMP Saddles participates again in the competitions on the roads of Benelux during this weekend. Daniele Nardello will lead the expedition for the Ronde van het Groene Hart (1.1) 207 km from Pijnacker till Zoetermeer scheduled in Holland on Sunday, March 21st. After three days the team will start their adventure of the classification in Belgium.On Wednesday, March 24th, the Footon-Servetto-Fuji will participate in the Dwars door Vlaanderen (1.1) of 200 km around the city of Waregem.

For two transfers Nardello will have Noè Gianetti, Fabio Felline, David Gutiérrez Palacios, Iban Mayoz, Ermanno Capelli, Marco Corti, Matthias Brändle and Vidal Celis. After those two competitions Palacios, Mayoz and Corti will leave their places for Michele Merlo, Johnnie Walker and Thomas Patrick Faiers, that will gain the rest of the team in order to face the E3 Prijs Vlaanderen in Harelbeke, on Saturday March 27th and the  Gand-Wevelgem next day, the last trial before the Giro delle Fiandre on Sunday, April 4th.

In the warmer latitudes the technicians Matxin and  Angoitia will lead the formation during the 90th Volta a Catalunya,seven stages from Monday 22 till Sunday March 28th, for the Spanish stage race with the come back of (glandular fever) Arkaitz Durán (mononucleosi) and of the sprinter Manuel Cardoso recovered from the shoulder problem due to his fall at Volta ao Algarve. The team is completed with Alberto Benítez, Eros Capecchi, David Gutiérrez Gutiérrez, Pedro Merino, Martin Pedersen and Aitor Pérez Arrieta.

ELITE/UNDER 23 - During last days the Team ProgettoCiclismo team directed by manager Massimo Subbrero has presented the athletes that will defend the yellow-blue colors during the 2010 competition season. There will make part of the association from Piedmont with the SMP Saddles fixed on their bikes Willier monta SMP Saddles, Affonso Murilo Ferraz (Brazil), Daniele Gozzi, Ivan Yari Zuliani, Luca Sacchetti, Massimiliano Barbero, Bruno Nappini, Andrea Viale, Andrea Roncarolo, Simone Briano (all of them 23 at 1st and 2nd year of the category)and the specialist of the cyclo cross Edmil Albertone. together with them there will be the compacted group of the Youngest to testify tle "green line" for the ProgettoCiclismo.
