Team Sky
Announced in 2009 with major sponsor BSkyB on board, Team Sky was created to promote British road cycling. The team, managed by Great Britain Olympic performance director Dave Brailsford CBE has focused on inspiring support for competitive cycling in Great Britain through their positive profile and performance principle take from the already successful GB teams; commitment, meticulous planning, the aggregation of marginal gains and a rider-centred philosophy.
